Lieu Cong vs Vong Hung

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Vietnam-North promoted show at Hanoi Tuan, Hanoi,  taking place on 09/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Vietnam-North Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lieu Cong (4 - 6(1) - 2) who hails from Hanoi, Vietnam and Vong Hung(25(4) - 5(3) - 2) from Hanoi, Vietnam.  Both Cong and Hung weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dang Duong, and the three ringside judges are Van Thanh, Phung Cong and Trinh Quang.  

Round 1: 

Hung advances into close range.  Cong throws a left uppercut, but Hung ties up his opponent.  Hung is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hung steps inside.  Cong throws a left uppercut, but Hung holds on to his opponent.  Hung pushes his forearm into Cong's face.  The referee warns Hung and breaks the clinch.  
Hung advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Hung manages to force Cong into a neutral corner.  Hung lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Hung hits home with a right hook.  Hung holds on to his opponent.  Hung leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Hung quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hung throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Hung ties up his opponent.  Hung tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Cong behind the head. Hung leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Hung's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hung sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into Cong's body.  
Hung sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a solid left hook.  
Cong tries to land a jab, but Hung dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Hung pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cong throws a left hook, but Hung ties up his opponent.  Hung is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Hung to stop fouling.  
Hung drives a left hook into Cong's body.  
Cong digs in a left hook to Hung's body.  
Hung walks his opponent into a corner.  Hung pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Hung sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hung is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Hung pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hung is on target with a right hook.  Hung holds on to his opponent.  Hung leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hung quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Hung is on target with a right hook to Cong's body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hung dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hung lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Hung sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Cong hits home with a cross.  
Hung digs in a stinging right hook to Cong's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Cong's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Cong's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Hung quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hung is on target with a left uppercut.  Hung holds on to his opponent.  Cong is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Cong quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Hung lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hung lands a hard jab.  
Hung closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Hung drives a stinging left hook into Cong's body.  CONG WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Hung stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Hung lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND KNOCKS CONG DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Hung advances into close range.  Hung lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS CONG SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Cong has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Hung quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS CONG!  The ref immediately waves off the fight...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Hung!
