John Chikwamo vs Quoitrel Makoto

Boxing Daily Report from the Middleleaze Promotions promoted show at Ndola Lushina, Ndola,  taking place on 06/05/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Zambia-Copperbelt Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Chikwamo (4 - 5 - 3) who hails from Ndola, Zambia and Quoitrel Makoto(6(3) - 1) from Kitwe, Zambia.  Chikwamo weighed in at 159 pounds and 10 ounces, while Makoto weighed in at 159 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Tyrell Mwandangombe, and the three ringside judges are Kwamin Ilunga, Dume Kapoma and Faraji Jobe.  

Round 1: 

Chikwamo closes the distance.  Makoto lands a left hook.  
Makoto digs in a left uppercut to Chikwamo's body.

Makoto switches the action to the outside.  Chikwamo tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.

Makoto hits home with a stinging right hook.  
Makoto steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Makoto drives a solid left uppercut into Chikwamo's body.

Makoto gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Makoto tries to land a left uppercut, but Chikwamo parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Chikwamo quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Chikwamo connects with a left hook.  Makoto ties up his opponent.  Makoto leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Makoto's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Makoto lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Chikwamo recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Makoto steps inside and drives a firm left hook into Chikwamo's ribs.  Makoto clinches his opponent.  Makoto leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Makoto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Makoto digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Makoto throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Chikwamo steps inside.  Makoto drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
Makoto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  As Makoto tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Chikwamo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Makoto lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.
