Mel Jones vs Lionel Vartan

Boxing Daily Report from the L2LBoxingPromotions promoted show at Swansea Roussel, Swansea,  taking place on 18/05/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mel Jones (18(1) - 8(5)) who hails from Cardiff, UK and Lionel Vartan(7 - 11 - 5) from Rennes, France.  Jones weighed in at 118 pounds, while Vartan weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Clinton Birney, and the three ringside judges are Dale Carrick, Joshua Gillespie and Edwyn Brodie.
