John Hedley vs Rob Croy

Boxing Daily Report from the Ricky Spanish Gym promoted show at Vancouver Urey, Vancouver,  taking place on 18/05/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Canada-British Columbia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Hedley (10 - 3) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Rob Croy(6(4) - 0) from Burnaby, Canada.  Hedley weighed in at 236 pounds and 15 ounces, while Croy weighed in at 236 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Spencer Clary, and the three ringside judges are Mel Boyd, James Clelland and Paul Low.  

Round 1: 

Hedley pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.

As Hedley tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Croy has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
