John Elliot vs Louis Hanegan

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Indigo at O2 Arena, London,  taking place on 06/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Elliot (3(1) - 0) who hails from York, UK and Louis Hanegan(4 - 6 - 2) from London, UK.  Elliot weighed in at 146 pounds and 15 ounces, while Hanegan weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Yeatts, and the three ringside judges are Keith Gruffudd, Charles Thomson and Gus Cruguet.  

Round 1: 

Elliot throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the shot.  Elliot ties up his opponent.  Elliot is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Elliot and breaks the clinch.  
Hanegan throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Elliot sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Elliot lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  Elliot holds on to his opponent.  Elliot leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Elliot hits home with a right uppercut.  
Elliot throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Elliot clinches his opponent.  Elliot leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Elliot lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Elliot attempts to land a left hook, but Hanegan blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Elliot snaps his opponents head back with a spiteful jab.  
Elliot hits home with a left uppercut.  Elliot tries to land a left hook, but Hanegan slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Elliot lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Elliot lands a sharp left hook.  
Elliot lands a jab to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Elliot gets on the inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Elliot lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Elliot lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hanegan sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Elliot lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Elliot ties up his opponent.  Hanegan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Elliot forces Hanegan to retreat into the corner.  Elliot lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Elliot lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Hanegan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Elliot blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Elliot is on target with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hanegan's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Hanegan's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Hanegan's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Hanegan's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Elliot advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Elliot holds on to his opponent.  Elliot leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Elliot lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Elliot is on target with a left hook to Hanegan's body.  Elliot holds on to his opponent.  Hanegan pushes his forearm into Elliot's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Hanegan attempts to land a left uppercut, but Elliot slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Elliot sidesteps to the right of his opponent and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Hanegan sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Elliot is on target with a spiteful jab.  
Elliot sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  As Elliot tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hanegan dabs at his face checking for damage.

Elliot drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Hanegan throws a left uppercut, but Elliot clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Hanegan pushes his forearm into Elliot's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hanegan.  
Elliot quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Elliot is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.

Elliot lands a firm left hook.  
Elliot sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Elliot steps inside.  Elliot pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Elliot lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Elliot lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Elliot connects with a stinging right uppercut.  
Elliot advances into close range and is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Elliot lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Elliot lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hanegan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Elliot lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Elliot steps inside and is on target with a left hook.  
Elliot feints a left, and then lands a sharp cross.  
Elliot lands a left hook.  
Elliot lands two right hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Elliot walks Hanegan down, trapping him in the corner.  Elliot feints a cross, and then lands a sharp left hook.  
Elliot steps inside.  Elliot pivots to the side of his opponent.  Hanegan lands a right hook.  Elliot holds on to his opponent.  Hanegan leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Elliot to stop holding.  
Elliot gets on the inside and drives a stinging left hook into his opponents ribs.

Elliot sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Elliot lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head, AND HANEGAN IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Hanegan now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Elliot drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  Elliot tries to land a left hook, but Hanegan blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Elliot sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Elliot gets on the inside.  Elliot pivots to the left of his opponent.  Elliot throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Elliot gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but Hanegan sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Elliot lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Elliot lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS HANEGAN SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Elliot!
