Diego Almas vs Rico Salaz

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Madero, Quito,  taking place on 21/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Almas (6 - 6) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Rico Salaz(13 - 13(1) - 2) from Quito, Ecuador.  Almas weighed in at 135 pounds, while Salaz weighed in at 134 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rogelio Remigio, and the three ringside judges are Enzo Roque, Cris Lainez and Santiago Rolon.

Salaz closes the distance and manouvers Almas onto the ropes.  Salaz lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.
