Mikio Sone vs Yasushi Okubo

Boxing Daily Report from the Paintsil Promotions promoted show at Chiba Miyahira, Chiba,  taking place on 27/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Sone (8 - 3 - 1) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Yasushi Okubo(20(4) - 2(1) - 3) from Ichikawa, Japan.  Sone weighed in at 249 pounds and 12 ounces, while Okubo weighed in at 239 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hisoka Nakamura, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Taketa, Yoshi Nomura and Taro Sugawara.  

Round 1: 

Okubo advances into close range and forces Sone to back into a corner.  Okubo pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.
