Michel Desnos vs Pascal Romand

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg,  taking place on 07/06/2044:

Clearly African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michel Desnos (8(4) - 1(1)) who hails from Yaoundé, Cameroon and Pascal Romand(18(1) - 16(8) - 1) from Pikine, Senegal.  Both Desnos and Romand weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Voshon Adams, and the three ringside judges are Nwa Ntuli, John Nzambi and Kofi Magqwaka.  

Round 1:

Desnos tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Romand steps inside.  Desnos lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Romand sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Desnos lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Romand manouvers Desnos onto the ropes.  Romand drives a left uppercut into Desnos's body.  
Desnos switches the action to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.  
Desnos hits home with a stinging overhand right.  
Romand attempts to land a cross, but Desnos parries the shot and counters with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Desnos steps to the outside.  Romand feints a right hook, and then attempts to land a cross, but Desnos sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head, AND ROMAND IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  Romand now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.

Desnos tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, cross and an overhand left to his opponents head, AND SENDS ROMAND TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  Romand almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Desnos switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Romand manages to force Desnos onto the ropes.  Desnos lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Romand connects with a cross.  
Desnos feints a cross, and then lands with a hard jab.  
Romand sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Romand throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a HUGE left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE ROMAND WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Romand almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Romand attempts to land a left hook, but Desnos sidesteps and counters with a spiteful right uppercut.  ROMAND IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.

Desnos steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a cross to the body followed by a overhand right to the head, AND ROMAND IS DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Desnos!
