Leonardo Buelna vs Glynn Kisitu

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 21/05/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Leonardo Buelna (34(29) - 1(1)) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Glynn Kisitu(28(2) - 10(3)) from Gulu, Uganda.  Both Buelna and Kisitu weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Rafferty, and the three ringside judges are Steven Stewart, Shane MacNevin and Rob Nesmith.  

Round 1: 

Buelna is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Buelna hits home with a stiff jab.  
Buelna closes the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Buelna tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Buelna finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Kisitu connects with a cross.  
Buelna tries to step out of his opponents range and lands with a stinging jab.  
Buelna lands a stinging cross.  
Kisitu attempts to land a jab, but Buelna slips the shot and counters with a big cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE KISITU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kisitu recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Buelna lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Buelna hits home with a solid cross.  
Buelna closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Buelna switches the action to the outside and attempts to land a jab, but Kisitu sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Buelna lands an overhand right to the head, a cross to the head and a cross to the body.  
Buelna lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Kisitu gets on the inside and attempts to land a left hook, but Buelna blocks the shot and counters with a firm left hook.  
Buelna switches the action to the outside and is on target with a firm cross.  
Buelna connects with a firm cross.  
Buelna lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Buelna closes the distance and is on target with a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  Buelna clinches his opponent.  Kisitu is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kisitu about fouling.  
Buelna steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
Buelna SLAMS a BRUTAL cross into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE KISITU WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Kisitu almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Buelna steps to the outside and is on target with a HUGE cross.  KISITU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kisitu recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kisitu's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Buelna steps away from his opponent and connects with a solid cross.  
Buelna lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Buelna is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Buelna is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Buelna lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND KISITU IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  It looks like Kisitu has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kisitu is on target with a left hook to Buelna's liver.  
Kisitu is looking to close the distance and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Buelna lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DOWN GOES KISITU!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Kisitu quickly recovers. 
Buelna lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Kisitu throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Kisitu manages to force Buelna into the corner.  Buelna whips in a nasty left hook to Kisitu's liver.  KISITU WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Kisitu recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Buelna feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Buelna lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Buelna is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Buelna lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS KISITU TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not give Kisitu the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Buelna!
