Verner Strober vs Trennen Schabel

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Arena Leipzig, Leipzig,  taking place on 11/06/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Germany Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sport Deutschland, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Verner Strober (43(35) - 9(5)) who hails from Heidelberg, Germany and Trennen Schabel(35(2) - 16(6)) from Braunschweig, Germany.  Strober weighed in at 174 pounds and 8 ounces, while Schabel weighed in at 174 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bin Besser, and the three ringside judges are Lennart Gesser, Ramhart Jeschke and Sebastian Dehm.  

Round 1: 

Strober closes the distance.  Schabel sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Strober crashes a hurtful right hook to Schabel's ribs.  SCHABEL IS HURT!  Schabel quickly recovers. 
Strober lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Strober is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Strober drives a sharp right hook into his opponents ribs.  
Strober lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Strober holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Strober pushes his forearm into Schabel's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Strober.  Schabel quickly recovers. 
Schabel sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Strober connects with a sharp cross.  
Strober is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Strober throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Schabel manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Strober lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Strober lands a cross to the head, a left uppercut to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Schabel lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Strober steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Strober clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Schabel pushes his forearm into Strober's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Schabel quickly recovers. 
Strober pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Strober whips in a spiteful left hook to his opponents ribs.  SCHABEL WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Strober gets on the inside.  The right shot from Strober could be enough to force the stoppage!  Strober lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DROPS SCHABEL!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Schabel now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Schabel pivots to the left of his opponent.  Schabel throws a right hook, but Strober ties up his opponent.  Strober is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Strober's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Strober connects with a firm left hook.  Strober attempts to land a left hook, but Schabel blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Strober walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Strober is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Schabel lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Strober advances into close range.  Schabel quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Strober is on target with a left hook.  
Strober finds the target with a stiff jab.  
Strober advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Strober lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Strober clinches his opponent.  Schabel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Schabel and breaks the clinch.  Schabel recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Strober forces Schabel to retreat into a corner.  Strober lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Strober lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SCHABEL IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Strober clinches his opponent.  Schabel is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Schabel's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Schabel's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Strober is looking to force the stoppage!  Strober whips in a big right uppercut to Schabel's ribs.  SCHABEL HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Strober lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body, AND DROPS SCHABEL TO THE CANVAS!  The ref does not even bother with the count...he's seen enough!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Strober!
