Ewan Ferries vs Matthew Shumway

Boxing Daily Report from the Kiwi Boxing Academy promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 30/05/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ewan Ferries (27(13) - 6) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Matthew Shumway(6 - 0) from North Shore, New Zealand.  Ferries weighed in at 107 pounds And 13 ounces, while Shumway weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joey Bridgeforth, and the three ringside judges are Mike Scroggins, Glynn Telford and Mike Sproule.  

Round 1: 

Ferries is looking to close the distance.  Ferries sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Ferries lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head. Shumway could be stopped here, if Ferries can find the right shot!  Ferries lands a left uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS SHUMWAY TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Ferries!
