Darryl Omotosho vs Bright Grillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Chirambo Promotions promoted show at Kano Amuneke, Kano,  taking place on 01/06/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Omotosho (2 - 11 - 3) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Bright Grillo(11 - 7 - 2) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Omotosho and Grillo weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jay-Jay Ukaegbu, and the three ringside judges are Lukman Aderemi, Emem Ekpeyong and Chinedu Monu.  

Round 1: 

Omotosho is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Grillo is looking to close the distance and cuts off the ring, trapping Omotosho in a corner.  Grillo lands a left hook.  
Grillo tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a cross.  
Omotosho attempts to land a cross, but Grillo blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
