Jay Costain vs John Forbes

Boxing Daily Report from the Simasiku Promotions promoted show at Simasiku Gym, Auckland,  taking place on 03/06/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jay Costain (30(9) - 13(3) - 3) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and John Forbes(4 - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Both Costain and Forbes weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hamahona Kurawhatia, and the three ringside judges are Louis Paipa, Kieran Beynon and George Brain.
