Myung-joo Oh vs Ui-jo Sok

Boxing Daily Report from the Baah Promotions promoted show at Kee-hee Noh Gym, Daegu,  taking place on 03/06/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Korea-Daegu Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Myung-joo Oh (3(2) - 3) who hails from Daegu, South Korea and Ui-jo Sok(16 - 8 - 1) from Daegu, South Korea.  Oh weighed in at 135 pounds, while Sok weighed in at 134 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chul Jou, and the three ringside judges are Jin-su Nahm, Chung-yong Byun and Jong-ho Toh.  

Round 1: 

Sok closes the distance.  Oh attempts to land a right hook, but Sok slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Oh circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Sok lands a left uppercut.  
Sok walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Sok tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Sok steps inside.  Oh throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Oh ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Sok pushes his forearm into Oh's face.  The referee warns Sok and breaks the clinch.  
Sok is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  Oh holds on to his opponent.  Oh tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Sok's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Oh.  
Oh tries to step out of his opponents range and connects with a hurtful cross.  SOK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Sok almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Sok advances into close range.  Oh drives a stinging left hook into Sok's body.  
Oh hits home with a solid cross.  Oh throws an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Sok is looking to close the distance and walks Oh onto the ropes.  Oh digs in a right hook to Sok's body.  
Oh lands a cross.  
Oh sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Sok drives a right hook into Oh's ribs.  
Oh is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
Oh advances into close range.  Sok drives a right hook into Oh's ribcage.  
Oh tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a firm cross.  
Oh advances into close range.  Sok connects with a left uppercut.  
Oh switches the action to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Sok steps inside.  Oh throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Oh holds on to his opponent.  Oh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Oh's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Oh tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Sok quickly recovers. 
Oh steps inside and digs in a left uppercut to Sok's body.  
Oh is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Oh feints a cross, and then lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Oh is on target with a firm overhand left.  
Oh lands a solid jab.  Oh attempts to land a jab, but Sok dodges the shot and counters with a left hook.

Oh steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  Oh throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Sok's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Sok's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Oh is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND SENDS SOK SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Oh!
