Chris Cairns vs Josh Callahan

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Minnesota promoted show at Minneapolis Guinness, Minneapolis,  taking place on 04/06/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Minnesota Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chris Cairns (9(7) - 1) who hails from Minneapolis, USA and Josh Callahan(5 - 4) from Minneapolis, USA.  Cairns weighed in at 135 pounds, while Callahan weighed in at 135 pounds and 10 ounces.    As Callahan came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Roger Blum, and the three ringside judges are Sam Power, Phil Bertel and Greg Pelle.  

Round 1:

Cairns is looking to close the distance.  Callahan throws a right uppercut, but Cairns holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Cairns pushes his forearm into Callahan's face.  The ref breaks Cairns's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cairns advances into close range.  Cairns pivots from in front of his opponent.  Cairns connects with a solid right hook.  Cairns clinches his opponent.  Cairns leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cairns sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Cairns is on target with a jab to Callahan's body.  
Cairns steps inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Callahan in the corner.  Cairns lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.
