Connor Gwynn vs Tobias Ruan

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 18/06/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Connor Gwynn (9(9) - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Tobias Ruan(1 - 0) from Vancouver, Canada.  Both Gwynn and Ruan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Severin Duchesnay, and the three ringside judges are Briant Sarraute, Bruce Hathorne and Courvoisier Hinault.  

Round 1: 

Ruan steps to the outside and throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Gwynn is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp jab.  
Gwynn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ruan lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Ruan lands a jab.  
Ruan closes the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Gwynn slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Ruan steps to the outside and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Ruan steps away from his opponent.  Ruan stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Gwynn lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, DROPPING RUAN TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Ruan almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ruan closes the distance.  Ruan lands a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Ruan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Gwynn is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gwynn stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Ruan tries to land a cross, but Gwynn slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Ruan is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Ruan pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gwynn tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Gwynn tries to keep the action at long range.  Ruan drops his guard, and stalks his opponent...he wants his opponent to throw a shot.  Gwynn is on target with a jab.  
Ruan closes the distance and hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Gwynn switches the action to the outside.  Ruan throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.

Ruan switches the action to the outside and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Ruan is looking to close the distance.  Gwynn tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.

Ruan advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Gwynn slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gwynn tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab, cross and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gwynn throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Ruan throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a big left hook to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE RUAN WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Ruan almost instantly recovers. 
Gwynn tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Ruan almost instantly gets his legs back.

Gwynn lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Ruan lands with a spiteful jab.  
Gwynn feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gwynn lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gwynn lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Gwynn is on target with a nasty overhand right.  RUAN IS HURT!  
Ruan advances into close range.  Gwynn senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Ruan and just needs the right shot.  Gwynn connects with a HUGE left hook.  RUAN IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Ruan has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Gwynn steps away from his opponent and drives a jab into Ruan's body.  Gwynn throws an overhand right, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
