Pancho Miron vs Manny Espinal

Boxing Daily Report from the Leon de Juda promoted show at Montevideo Portilla, Montevideo,  taking place on 06/06/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Uruguay-Montevideo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Pancho Miron (18(6) - 12(1) - 1) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Manny Espinal(2 - 3 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Miron weighed in at 126 pounds, while Espinal weighed in at 125 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Cuesta, and the three ringside judges are Loredo Tio, Ryo Canedo and Reyes Olmedo.  

Round 1: 

Espinal tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.

Some sustained pressure from Miron could be enough to finish Espinal!  Miron lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head, AND DROPS ESPINAL!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.
