Clinton Henrie vs Billy Mortimer

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at United Center, Chicago,  taking place on 30/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Clinton Henrie (12(11) - 0) who hails from Philadelphia, USA and Billy Mortimer(26 - 21(12) - 4) from Wichita, USA.  Both Henrie and Mortimer weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Touch, and the three ringside judges are John Oman, Rob Dockter and Leo Kor.  

Round 1: 

Henrie advances into close range and drives a sharp left hook into Mortimer's ribs.  
Henrie hits home with a firm cross.  
Mortimer finds the target with a jab.  
Mortimer hits home with a cross.  
Henrie advances into close range and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND DROPS MORTIMER TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Mortimer quickly recovers. 
Henrie lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Henrie clinches his opponent.  Henrie pushes his forearm into Mortimer's face.  The ref breaks Henrie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mortimer feints a jab, and then drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Henrie steps inside.  Henrie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Henrie lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Henrie holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Henrie pushes his forearm into Mortimer's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Henrie.  
Henrie lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Henrie gets on the inside and drives a firm left hook into his opponents body.  Henrie clinches his opponent.  Henrie uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Mortimer behind the head. The ref breaks Henrie's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Henrie closes the distance and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mortimer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Mortimer throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Henrie clinches his opponent.  Henrie is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Henrie walks Mortimer down, trapping him on the ropes.  Henrie digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Henrie gets on the inside.  Mortimer pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Henrie lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mortimer's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.

Henrie steps inside and slams a mean left hook into Mortimer's liver.  MORTIMER IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  Henrie ties up his opponent.  Mortimer leans on his opponent using all his weight. Henrie tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mortimer behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mortimer sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Henrie throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Henrie closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Mortimer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mortimer throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Henrie steps inside.  Mortimer digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Henrie digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mortimer hits home with a cross.  
Mortimer manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mortimer feints a cross, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Henrie advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Mortimer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Henrie lands a SAVAGE left uppercut.  MORTIMER WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Mortimer almost instantly gets his legs back.

Mortimer lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Mortimer tries to land a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook to Mortimer's body.  
Mortimer throws a left hook, but Henrie clinches his opponent.  Henrie leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mortimer quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mortimer throws a left hook, but Henrie holds on to his opponent.  Mortimer is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mortimer backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Henrie accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Mortimer.  Henrie is on target with a cross.  
Henrie feints a right hook, but Mortimer is not fooled and lands with a cross.  
Mortimer digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Mortimer drives a jab into his opponents body.  
Henrie sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mortimer lands a cross.  
Henrie advances into close range.  Mortimer tries to land a right hook, but Henrie dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Henrie lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Mortimer's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Mortimer lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  Mortimer attempts to land a cross, but Henrie sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut to Mortimer's body.  
Henrie steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Mortimer recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Henrie drives a stinging right uppercut into his opponents ribs.  
Henrie closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mortimer tries to land a right uppercut, but Henrie blocks the shot and counters with a sharp left hook.  
Henrie is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Henrie lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Mortimer now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Henrie feints a cross, fooling Mortimer into launching a cross counter.  Henrie avoids the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Mortimer attempts to land a left hook, but Henrie sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Henrie lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.

Henrie slams a mean left hook into Mortimer's ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE MORTIMER WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Mortimer recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Henrie gets on the inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Henrie attempts to land a right hook, but Mortimer slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Henrie whips in a hurtful right hook to Mortimer's body.  MORTIMER IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  However, the ref is not convinced Mortimer is fit to continue. He waves off the fight!  The winner by TKO is Henrie!
