Josh Mabin vs Brad Darby

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at Edwards Hall, Miami,  taking place on 09/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Josh Mabin (11(7) - 0) who hails from Houston, USA and Brad Darby(17 - 17(1)) from Macon, USA.  Both Mabin and Darby weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Llanas, and the three ringside judges are Javier Resendiz, Kenzie Calley and Onofre Villagomez.  

Round 1: 

Mabin advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mabin steps inside.  Darby wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Mabin dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Mabin forces Darby to back into a corner.  Mabin lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mabin lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mabin lands a stinging right hook.  
Darby steps to the outside.  Mabin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands an overhand left.  
Mabin lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mabin walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mabin lands a left hook.  Mabin clinches his opponent.  Mabin is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Mabin lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Mabin lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Mabin thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Darby away.  Mabin lands a cross to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  He then lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Mabin lands a stinging right hook.  Darby now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Mabin connects with a cross.  
Darby sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mabin lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Darby switches the action to the outside.  Mabin lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Mabin is looking to close the distance and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
Mabin forces Darby to retreat onto the ropes.  Mabin is on target with a solid left hook.  
Mabin lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Darby sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mabin lands a cross.  
Mabin gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Darby's ribs.  
Mabin pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Mabin lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Darby tries to land a cross, but Mabin sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Mabin closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mabin holds on to his opponent.  Mabin pushes his forearm into Darby's face.  The ref breaks Mabin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mabin steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Mabin clinches his opponent.  Mabin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mabin lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Mabin holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Mabin pushes his forearm into Darby's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Mabin to stop fouling.  
Mabin is on target with a firm left uppercut.  Mabin holds on to his opponent.  Mabin throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. Mabin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Mabin uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Darby behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Darby's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Darby's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Mabin tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Darby's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Mabin about fouling.  
Mabin lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Mabin lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mabin pivots from in front of his opponent and drives a left hook into Darby's liver.  
Mabin gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Mabin digs in a solid left hook to his opponents liver.  Mabin clinches his opponent.  Mabin leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Mabin's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Mabin hits home with a solid cross.  
Mabin closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS DARBY DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Darby tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Mabin gets on the inside.  Darby throws a right hook, but Mabin clinches his opponent.  Mabin is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Mabin advances into close range.  Mabin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm left uppercut to Darby's ribs.  
Mabin lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Mabin lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Darby walks Mabin onto the ropes.  Mabin lands a hard jab.  
Mabin advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Mabin closes the distance and digs in a sharp left uppercut to Darby's liver.
