Gareth Dawes vs Billy Kuzmich

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Western Australia promoted show at Perth Woodhouse, Perth,  taking place on 14/06/2044:

Clearly AI Australia-Western Australia have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Western Australia Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gareth Dawes (3(1) - 3 - 2) who hails from Perth, Australia and Billy Kuzmich(2 - 8) from Perth, Australia.  Dawes weighed in at 112 pounds, while Kuzmich weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kamran Kaber, and the three ringside judges are Oscar MacKechnie, Vince Kelty and John Clark.  

Round 1: 

Dawes closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Dawes steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Kuzmich attempts to land a right hook, but Dawes sidesteps and counters with a mean right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Some sustained pressure from Dawes could be enough to finish Kuzmich!  Dawes slams a hurtful right hook into Kuzmich's ribcage.  KUZMICH HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Kuzmich has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Dawes lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Dawes throws a right hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Dawes ties up his opponent.  Dawes is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Dawes.  
Dawes walks Kuzmich into the corner.  Dawes lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Dawes lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Dawes lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.

Dawes closes the distance.  Dawes digs in a left hook to Kuzmich's ribs.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dawes dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Kuzmich hits home with a right uppercut.  
Dawes manouvers Kuzmich into a corner.  Dawes hits home with a powerful left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE KUZMICH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Dawes knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Dawes lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND DROPS KUZMICH!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Dawes!
