Sam Higgins vs Sam McCormick

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Royal Dublin Society, Dublin,  taking place on 02/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Irish Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on RET One, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sam Higgins (53(38) - 14(12)) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Sam McCormick(29(1) - 18(11) - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Higgins weighed in at 168 pounds, while McCormick weighed in at 167 pounds and 6 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Brandon Madigan, and the three ringside judges are Carl MacRae, Will Nolan and Joshua Dermott.  

Round 1: 

McCormick pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
