Joey Burgess vs Wayne Moloney

Boxing Daily Report from the Ruler Fighting promoted show at St. Louis Moloney, St. Louis,  taking place on 18/06/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Missouri Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joey Burgess (14 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Kansas City, USA and Wayne Moloney(3 - 3 - 1) from Independence, USA.  Both Burgess and Moloney weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Aaron Ottosen, and the three ringside judges are Billy Grieves, Mick Bihl and Antwan Dougherty.  

Round 1: 

Moloney hits home with a cross.  
Moloney lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Burgess throws a right uppercut, but Moloney holds on to his opponent.  Moloney pushes his forearm into Burgess's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Moloney about fouling.  
Burgess steps to the outside.  Moloney connects with an overhand right.  
Moloney steps inside and walks Burgess down, trapping him on the ropes.  Moloney pivots to the side of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Moloney closes the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Burgess slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Burgess tries to keep the action at long range and is on target with a jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Burgess's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Moloney's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Burgess goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Moloney time to recover.  
Moloney closes the distance.  Moloney pivots to the side of his opponent.  Burgess hits home with a left uppercut.  
Burgess is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Moloney feints a jab, fooling Burgess into launching a right hook counter.  Moloney is waiting for the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Burgess steps to the outside.  Moloney quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Burgess is on target with a cross.
