Denton Begg vs Sid McGuire

Boxing Daily Report from the GAT Management promoted show at Bell Centre, Montreal,  taking place on 16/07/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Denton Begg (34(31) - 0) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Sid McGuire(18(6) - 6(3) - 2) from Boston, USA.  Both Begg and McGuire weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Michael Patillo, and the three ringside judges are James Dunlap, Erec Adore and Oscar Galloway.  

Round 1: 

Begg switches the action to the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.

Begg lands a stinging cross.  Begg tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Begg tries to step out of his opponents range and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.

Begg hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Begg lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Begg steps away from his opponent.  McGuire tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Begg lands a straight 1 - 2.  
McGuire connects with a cross.

McGuire tries to land a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Begg lands a right hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Begg connects with a spiteful cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE MCGUIRE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  McGuire almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Begg tries to keep the action at long range.  McGuire sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Begg lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
McGuire manages to force Begg onto the ropes.  Begg throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Begg's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  McGuire's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Begg lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the head and a cross to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Begg thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put McGuire away.  Begg lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND MCGUIRE IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  
Begg is looking to keep the action on the outside.  McGuire throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE left uppercut.  McGuire now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
McGuire lands a cross.  
Begg is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, KNOCKING MCGUIRE DOWN!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Begg!
