William MacKay vs Vincent Gaw

Boxing Daily Report from the JC Promotions promoted show at Harrow Leisure Centre, London,  taking place on 22/06/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the British-Southern England Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport UK, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Willy Mac William MacKay (22(8) - 1) who hails from Plymouth, UK and Vincent Gaw(18(8) - 1(1) - 1) from Bristol, UK.  Both MacKay and Gaw weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charles Mylne, and the three ringside judges are David Priddy, Irfan Minhas and Lewis Jones.  

Round 1: 

MacKay hits home with a cross.

MacKay lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  
MacKay sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gaw lands a hard jab.  
MacKay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Gaw drives a hard jab into his opponents face.  
MacKay stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Gaw attempts to land a cross, but MacKay sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut to Gaw's ribs.  
Gaw closes the distance.  MacKay is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
MacKay is looking to keep his distance.  MacKay sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gaw tries to land a jab, but MacKay slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacKay lands a spiteful jab.  
MacKay lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
MacKay drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Gaw tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
MacKay sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with an overhand left.  
MacKay lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
MacKay switches the action to the outside and is on target with a jab.  
MacKay is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a sharp cross.  
MacKay is on target with an overhand right.  
MacKay lands with a stiff jab.  
Gaw gets on the inside and forces MacKay to back into the ropes.  MacKay lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
MacKay slams a hurtful left hook into Gaw's body.  GAW IS HURT!  MacKay tries to land a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
MacKay senses Gaw is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  MacKay lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Gaw lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  It looks like Gaw has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
MacKay steps away from his opponent.  Gaw sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  MacKay lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Gaw is looking to close the distance.  MacKay senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  MacKay lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES GAW!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is MacKay!
