Stuart Gartley vs Njord Stray

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Olympic Stadium, Montreal,  taking place on 16/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Stuart Gartley (18(12) - 2(1)) who hails from Ottawa, Canada and Njord Stray(36(4) - 21(19)) from Oslo, Norway.  Both Gartley and Stray weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carvell Brame, and the three ringside judges are Paris Clarin, Louis Marvingt and Sid Leys.  

Round 1: 

Gartley is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Gartley attempts to land a jab, but Stray sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Gartley connects with a solid cross.  Gartley throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Gartley tries to land a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Stray snaps his opponents head back with a solid jab.  
Stray connects with a cross.  
Stray steps inside.  Stray sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gartley lands a stinging left uppercut.  Gartley throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

Stray steps inside.  Stray pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gartley lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gartley steps away from his opponent.  Stray lands a hard jab.  
Stray hits home with a cross.  
Gartley steps to the outside and is on target with a stinging cross.  
Stray closes the distance.  Stray pivots to the side of his opponent.  Gartley lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gartley's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Gartley's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Stray's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.

Gartley is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gartley feints a cross, fooling Stray into launching a left hook counter.  Gartley springs the trap, countering with  a solid right hook.  
Stray closes the distance.  Gartley connects with a solid left hook.  
Gartley lands a stinging right hook.  
Stray manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Stray sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gartley tries to land a left hook, but Stray blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Gartley is on target with a sharp left hook to Stray's liver.  
Gartley steps away from his opponent.  Stray attempts to land a jab, but Gartley sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Stray lands an overhand right.  
Gartley lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gartley steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Gartley lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gartley steps away from his opponent.  Stray attempts to land a jab, but Gartley slips the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Gartley lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Stray recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Stray closes the distance.  Gartley drives a left hook into Stray's liver.  
Stray forces Gartley to back into the ropes.  Stray lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stray steps inside.  Gartley lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gartley switches the action to the outside and throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Stray lands a jab.  
Stray advances into close range and forces Gartley to back into the ropes.  Gartley is on target with a weighty left hook to Stray's liver.  STRAY IS HURT!  
Stray could be stopped here, if Gartley can find the right shot!  Gartley lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents body, AND SENDS STRAY SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  Stray now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Gartley switches the action to the outside.  Stray attempts to land a jab, but Gartley sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook to Stray's body.  
Stray lands a jab.  
Gartley DETONATES a MASSIVE overhand right on his opponents face.  STRAY IS HURT!  Stray recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Stray hits home with an overhand right.  
Stray steps inside.  Stray sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Stray sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Gartley attempts to land a jab, but Stray slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Gartley thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Stray away.  Gartley lands a spiteful cross.  STRAY HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  Stray now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.  
Stray walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Stray pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Stray steps inside.  Gartley connects with a stinging left uppercut.  
Stray closes the distance.  Gartley tries to land a left hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gartley is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands an overhand right, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES STRAY!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Gartley!
