Glynn Gilkeson vs Dan Pryce

Boxing Daily Report from the HONEYPUNCH promoted show at Tower Festival Headland, Blackpool,  taking place on 09/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the British-Northern England Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Glynn Gilkeson (18(12) - 1) who hails from Leeds, UK and Dan Pryce(12 - 21(11) - 2 - 1(NC)) from Wakefield, UK.  Gilkeson weighed in at 160 pounds, while Pryce weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Harry Marchbank, and the three ringside judges are Robert Macmillan, Chris McReynolds and Bob Clyde.  

Round 1: 

Gilkeson connects with a WICKED cross.  PRYCE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Gilkeson senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Pryce and just needs the right shot.  Gilkeson DETONATES a spiteful cross on his opponents face.  PRYCE IS DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  
Pryce now seems to have got his legs back.  
Gilkeson switches the action to the outside and is on target with a cross to Pryce's body.  
Pryce throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gilkeson lands a cross.  
Pryce closes the distance.  Gilkeson connects with a sharp right uppercut.  Gilkeson clinches his opponent.  Pryce pushes his forearm into Gilkeson's face.  The ref breaks Gilkeson's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Pryce closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Gilkeson ties up his opponent.  Gilkeson pushes his forearm into Pryce's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gilkeson to stop fouling.  
Gilkeson is on target with a right hook to Pryce's ribs.  
Gilkeson tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a firm cross.  
Gilkeson lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pryce is looking to close the distance and throws a left uppercut, but Gilkeson clinches his opponent.  Gilkeson pushes his forearm into Pryce's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gilkeson.  
Gilkeson lands two straights to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Gilkeson closes the distance.  Gilkeson knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Gilkeson lands a right uppercut to the head, a cross to the head and a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two left uppercuts followed by a cross to his opponents head.  Pryce now seems to have his senses back.  
Gilkeson is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND DOWN GOES PRYCE!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Gilkeson!
