Rob Glendinning vs Rich Carruthers

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Nicholas Baird Gym, North Shore,  taking place on 27/06/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Glendinning (2 - 5 - 2) who hails from Waitakere, New Zealand and Rich Carruthers(6 - 2 - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Glendinning and Carruthers weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie Seay, and the three ringside judges are Mason Dunning, Clinton Martie and Harvey Dorch.  

Round 1: 

Glendinning closes the distance.  Carruthers lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Carruthers digs in a left hook to Glendinning's body.  
Glendinning quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Carruthers lands a left uppercut.  
Carruthers forces Glendinning to back into the ropes.  Carruthers pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head.  
Glendinning is on target with a left hook.  
Carruthers sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Carruthers advances into close range.  Carruthers hits home with a left hook.  Carruthers wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Glendinning dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Carruthers closes the distance and is on target with a right hook to Glendinning's body.  
Carruthers is looking to close the distance and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Glendinning steps to the outside.  Carruthers connects with a cross.  
Carruthers is looking to close the distance.  Carruthers leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Glendinning is whaling away with hooks, but Carruthers keeps his defence tight.  
Carruthers closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Carruthers digs in a left hook to Glendinning's body.
