Diallo Boateng vs Thibaud Perse

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Yaoundé Multipurpose Sports Complex, Yaoundé,  taking place on 17/06/2044:

Clearly African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Diallo Boateng (4(2) - 0) who hails from Soshanguve, South Africa and Thibaud Perse(15 - 10(3) - 2) from Pikine, Senegal.  Boateng weighed in at 122 pounds, while Perse weighed in at 121 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Nicolas Baga, and the three ringside judges are Tujan Dolassem, Tyson Nguekam and Dax Bill.  

Round 1: 

Boateng quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.

At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Perse's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Perse's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Perse's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Boateng is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Perse's ribs.  
Boateng lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Boateng steps inside and whips in a hurtful right uppercut to his opponents body.  IT LOOKS LIKE PERSE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Perse recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Boateng sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.  
Boateng drives a solid right hook into Perse's ribcage.  
Boateng closes the distance and digs in a solid left hook to his opponents body.  
Boateng is looking to close the distance and slams a spiteful right hook into his opponents ribs.  PERSE WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Perse almost instantly recovers. 
Boateng lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Perse attempts to land a right hook, but Boateng slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Boateng pivots to the right of his opponent.  Perse throws a right hook, but Boateng holds on to his opponent.  Boateng hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As they grapple, Boateng pushes his forearm into Perse's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Boateng.

Boateng lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Boateng ties up his opponent.  Boateng is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Boateng to stop holding.  
Perse is looking to keep his distance.  Boateng senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Perse and just needs the right shot.  Boateng lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He then lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING PERSE TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 6.  
Boateng is looking to close the distance.  Boateng lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES PERSE!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  It looks like Perse has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Boateng walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Boateng is looking to force the stoppage!  Boateng lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head, KNOCKING PERSE DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Perse now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
