Alan McColm vs Ryuu Fujiwara

Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Ariake Arena, Tokyo,  taking place on 19/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Alan McColm (15(8) - 0) who hails from Nottingham, UK and Ryuu Fujiwara(13 - 12(2) - 1) from Sendai, Japan.  McColm weighed in at 226 pounds, while Fujiwara weighed in at 229 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yoshi Tanaka, and the three ringside judges are Ryo Nagasawa, Isamu Nonaka and Aki Fujii.  

Round 1: 

Fujiwara closes the distance.  McColm sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  McColm is on target with a stinging right hook.  McColm ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, McColm pushes his forearm into Fujiwara's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns McColm to stop fouling.  
McColm feints a cross, and then lands a jab, right uppercut and a jab to his opponents head.  
McColm is looking to keep his distance.  McColm feints a left, and then lands a jab, overhand left and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
McColm lands a jab followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.

McColm sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a jab.  
McColm is looking to keep his distance.  McColm quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.

Fujiwara gets on the inside.  McColm lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
McColm lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
McColm stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Fujiwara tries to land an overhand right, but McColm sidesteps and counters with a sharp left hook.  
McColm quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
McColm is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  McColm lands two left uppercuts followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS FUJIWARA DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Fujiwara now seems to have got his legs back.

McColm lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Fujiwara quickly recovers.
