Elderson Asmau vs Julius Wabara

Boxing Daily Report from the Kune Promotions promoted show at Ilorin Williams, Ilorin,  taking place on 28/06/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kwara State Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Elderson Asmau (12(2) - 5 - 2) who hails from Ilorin, Nigeria and Julius Wabara(4 - 14 - 4) from Offa, Nigeria.  Asmau weighed in at 147 pounds, while Wabara weighed in at 146 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Gazi Ansari, and the three ringside judges are Kamran Kalil, Akeem Nworah and Kamran Kalil.  

Round 1: 

Wabara is looking to close the distance.  Asmau lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Asmau clinches his opponent.  Asmau uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Wabara behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Asmau.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Wabara dabs at his face checking for damage.  Wabara has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.  
Asmau connects with a left uppercut.  Asmau clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Asmau pushes his forearm into Wabara's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Asmau.
