Steven Njue vs Ellis Tengelei

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Zach Masamba Gym, Naivasha,  taking place on 28/06/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kenya-Nakuru Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Steven Njue (3 - 4(1) - 3) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Ellis Tengelei(8 - 1) from Naivasha, Kenya.  Njue weighed in at 140 pounds, while Tengelei weighed in at 139 pounds And 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sam Tanui, and the three ringside judges are Jay Butita, Kwamin Shaheen and Jay Butita.  

Round 1: 

Tengelei advances into close range.  Tengelei digs in a left hook to Njue's ribs.  Tengelei ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Tengelei's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Tengelei has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight damage to the nose.  
Njue lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.
