Duncan Curtis vs Jerrold Albuquerque

Boxing Daily Report from the Global Boxing Association promoted show at Modesto Brice, Modesto,  taking place on 06/07/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Duncan Curtis (31(12) - 4(2) - 1) who hails from Fremont, USA and Jerrold Albuquerque(27 - 15(7)) from Riverside, USA.  Curtis weighed in at 243 pounds and 15 ounces, while Albuquerque weighed in at 259 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Glynn Flockhart, and the three ringside judges are Mason Coldwell, Dai Kerwood and John Rhydderch.  

Round 1: 

Curtis advances into close range and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents body.  
Curtis pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Albuquerque's body.  
Curtis drives a right hook into Albuquerque's ribcage.  
Curtis pivots to the left of his opponent.  Albuquerque attempts to land a right hook, but Curtis slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Curtis lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Curtis manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Curtis is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Curtis lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Curtis lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Curtis pivots to the side of his opponent andCurtis wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Albuquerque dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Curtis is on target with a firm left uppercut to Albuquerque's liver.  
Albuquerque throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Albuquerque pivots to the left of his opponent.  Curtis lands a jab to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Curtis closes the distance and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Curtis lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND ALBUQUERQUE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Albuquerque almost instantly recovers. 
Curtis pivots from in front of his opponent.  Albuquerque attempts to land a jab, but Curtis slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Curtis gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Curtis closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Curtis lands with a spiteful jab.  
Albuquerque steps away from his opponent and tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Albuquerque's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Albuquerque's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Albuquerque's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
