Declan Weems vs Alen Ferries

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Des Moines Civic Center Stoner Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 04/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Iowa Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Declan Weems (6 - 10 - 3) who hails from Davenport, USA and Alen Ferries(9(2) - 2(1)) from Des Moines, USA.  Weems weighed in at 147 pounds and 11 ounces, while Ferries weighed in at 147 pounds.    As Weems came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Dave Weatherhead, and the three ringside judges are Amon Stackpoole, Dave Weatherhead and Amon Stackpoole.
