Mick Bithell vs David Patton

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Oregon promoted show at Eugene Spier, Eugene,  taking place on 05/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Oregon Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mick Bithell (3 - 12 - 2) who hails from Portland, USA and David Patton(2 - 0) from Portland, USA.  Bithell weighed in at 135 pounds, while Patton weighed in at 134 pounds And 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Charles Banks, and the three ringside judges are Joe Rainey, Baltasar Mijares and Alec Romo.  

Round 1: 

Bithell advances into close range.  Patton connects with a right hook.  
Patton steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Patton lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Bithell closes the distance and manouvers Patton onto the ropes.  Patton lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Patton gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook.  Patton ties up his opponent.  Patton pushes his forearm into Bithell's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Patton to stop fouling.  
Patton closes the distance and digs in a left hook to Bithell's ribs.  
Patton steps away from his opponent and lands a cross.  
Patton steps inside.  Patton pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Patton advances into close range.  Bithell wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Patton dabs at his face checking for damage.
