Hikaru Domen vs Naoki Sanda

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo,  taking place on 23/07/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WOWOW, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hikaru I'm Not Sorry Domen (40(27) - 14(7)) who hails from Akashi, Japan and Naoki Sanda(32(10) - 9(4) - 2) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Domen weighed in at 159 pounds and 9 ounces, while Sanda weighed in at 160 pounds and 11 ounces.    As Sanda came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Takeo Kibe, and the three ringside judges are Akira Kishimoto, Isamu Kuno and Kazuhiko Furukawa.  

Round 1: 

Domen drives a stinging right hook into his opponents body.  
Sanda manages to force Domen onto the ropes.  Domen is on target with a firm cross to his opponents body.  
Domen drives a telling right hook into Sanda's body.  SANDA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Sanda almost instantly recovers.

Domen advances into close range.  Domen sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Domen wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sanda dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sanda switches the action to the outside.  Domen is on target with a jab.  
Domen closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Domen is on target with a left hook to Sanda's ribs.  Domen throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents body.

Domen closes the distance and whips in a big right hook to Sanda's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE SANDA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Domen holds on to his opponent.  Sanda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sanda is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Domen senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Domen lands a left uppercut, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Sanda now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Domen lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head, AND SANDA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 8.  The ref asks Sanda to get his gloves up, but he doesnt respond.  The ref has waved the fight off...he doesnt think Sanda can continue!  The winner by TKO is Domen!
