Boxing Daily Report from the Jaromir Dobroniecki promoted show at Madison Square Garden, New York City,  taking place on 05/07/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Crawler Morton (4(4) - 0) who hails from Columbus, USA and Dave Davies(18 - 28(5) - 3) from Durham, USA.  Both Morton and Davies weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bart Budge, and the three ringside judges are James Meredith, Sam Rice and James Meredith.

Morton gets on the inside.  Morton pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a sharp left hook to Davies's ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Davies's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Davies's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Davies tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Morton digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Morton has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Morton lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  
Morton sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Morton lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Morton senses Davies is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Morton is on target with a weighty left uppercut to his opponents liver.  DAVIES HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  
Morton drives a potent right hook into Davies's body.  DAVIES IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Davies now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Morton digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Morton manages to force Davies into the corner.  Morton lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body, AND SENDS DAVIES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  The ref waves off the fight.  He does not believe Davies can continue!  The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Morton!
