Naoki Fukumoto vs Dai Muto

Boxing Daily Report from the Muya Promotions promoted show at Goro Chiba Gym, Funabashi,  taking place on 27/07/2044:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Naoki Fukumoto (4 - 5(2)) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Dai Muto(12 - 2(1) - 1) from Chiba, Japan.  Both Fukumoto and Muto weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yoshi Oh, and the three ringside judges are Akira Oshita, Taro Sugawara and Yoshi Nomura.  

Round 1: 

Muto closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Muto closes the distance and forces Fukumoto to back into the ropes.  Muto lands a left uppercut followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Fukumoto connects with a right hook.  
Muto quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Fukumoto is looking to close the distance.  Muto connects with a right hook.  
Muto lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Muto forces Fukumoto to retreat into the corner.  Muto connects with a left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Muto.  That has caused a minor cut in the corner of.  
Muto lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Muto sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Muto dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Muto closes the distance.  Muto sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Fukumoto digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Muto connects with a left hook.  
Fukumoto tries to keep the action at long range.  Muto lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Fukumoto advances into close range.  Muto lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Muto lands a right uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents head.

Fukumoto steps inside and forces Muto to back into the corner.  Muto lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Muto gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  
Muto pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the head.  
Muto connects with a left uppercut.  
Muto manouvers Fukumoto into a corner.  Muto drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.  
Fukumoto digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  Fukumoto throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Muto time to recover.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Fukumoto.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Fukumoto attempts to land a left hook, but Muto blocks the shot and counters with a sharp right uppercut.

Fukumoto throws a right hook, but Muto holds on to his opponent.  Muto leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Muto closes the distance and forces Fukumoto to retreat into a corner.  Muto lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Muto is on target with a sharp left hook.
