Ibrahim Firoud vs Jayvyn Mxoyana

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Boxing promoted show at Athlone Stadium, Cape Town,  taking place on 10/09/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the African Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ibrahim Firoud (10(8) - 4 - 3) who hails from Algiers, Algeria and Jayvyn Mxoyana(23(12) - 3(1)) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Firoud and Mxoyana weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Colin Ntuli, and the three ringside judges are Luvolwethu Nyatama, Xhosas Serero and Luvolwethu Nyatama.  

Round 1: 

Firoud is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.

He follows up the attack and lands a left hook, right hook and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  It looks like Mxoyana has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Firoud closes the distance.  Mxoyana attempts to land a left uppercut, but Firoud sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Firoud throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Firoud closes the distance.  Mxoyana attempts to land a left hook, but Firoud sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Mxoyana sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Firoud throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
