John Elliot vs Rob Perkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Top Shelf Prospects promoted show at O2 Academy, Newcastle,  taking place on 22/07/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are John Elliot (4(2) - 0) who hails from York, UK and Rob Perkins(9 - 4(1)) from Cambridge, UK.  Both Elliot and Perkins weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matthew McAlister, and the three ringside judges are Billy Ireland, Rhod Secombe and Nathan Still.  

Round 1: 

Elliot gets on the inside.  Elliot pivots to the side of his opponent and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Elliot steps inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  Elliot ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Elliot pushes his forearm into Perkins's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Elliot.  Elliot throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Elliot's ribcage.  
Elliot lands a right hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body.  
Elliot walks his opponent into a corner.  Elliot lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Elliot lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Perkins steps to the outside.  Elliot lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Elliot gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Elliot hits home with a cross.  
Elliot drives a sharp left hook into Perkins's ribs.  Elliot holds on to his opponent.  Elliot leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Elliot walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Perkins lands a jab.  Perkins throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Elliot drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  
Elliot lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Elliot lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Elliot digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  Elliot ties up his opponent.  Elliot uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Perkins's kidney. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Elliot about fouling.

Elliot closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Elliot manages to force Perkins into a corner.  Elliot lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Elliot lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Perkins pivots to the left of his opponent.  Perkins throws a right hook, but Elliot ties up his opponent.  Elliot leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Perkins's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Perkins's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.
