Ian Nessmith vs Joey MacKenna

Boxing Daily Report from the Brenin Promotions promoted show at Temple Theater, Des Moines,  taking place on 14/08/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Ian Nessmith (4(3) - 0) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Joey MacKenna(2 - 0 - 1) from New York City, USA.  Both Nessmith and MacKenna weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Balderston, and the three ringside judges are David Crosbie, Isaac Levingston and David Crosbie.  

Round 1: 

MacKenna sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Nessmith lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross to the body followed by two jab's to the head.  
Nessmith feints a jab, tricking MacKenna into launching a left uppercut counter.  Nessmith springs the trap and counters with  a cross.

Nessmith retreats back to the ropes, and waits for his opponent to attack.  MacKenna tries to tag Nessmith on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
MacKenna throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
MacKenna throws a left uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Nessmith tries to keep the action at long range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a cross to the head.  
Nessmith lands with a sharp jab.  
MacKenna switches the action to the outside.  Nessmith lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Nessmith lands an overhand left followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Nessmith lands a jab to the head followed by a cross to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Some sustained pressure from Nessmith could be enough to finish MacKenna!  Nessmith crashes a hurtful left hook to his opponents body.  MACKENNA HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  MacKenna now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
