Thamsanqa Makwetla vs Jackson Motupa

Boxing Daily Report from the Eghenyan Promotions promoted show at Sam Naude Gym, iBhayi,  taking place on 03/08/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa-Eastern Cape Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Thamsanqa Makwetla (10 - 21(3) - 1) who hails from Port Elizabeth, South Africa and Jackson Motupa(3 - 1) from iBhayi, South Africa.  Makwetla weighed in at 147 pounds, while Motupa weighed in at 146 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rob Mthethwa, and the three ringside judges are Mason Baramoto, Dai Phala and Mason Baramoto.  

Round 1: 

Motupa is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.
