Garen Mekongo vs David Akinmunde

Boxing Daily Report from the African Boxing Kingdom promoted show at Stade Roumde-Adjia, Garoua,  taking place on 11/08/2044:

Clearly African Boxing Kingdom have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Western African Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Garen Mekongo (14(6) - 0) who hails from Bamenda, Cameroon and David Akinmunde(39(33) - 13(12) - 1) from Maiduguri, Nigeria.  Both Mekongo and Akinmunde weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Emmanuel Biyik, and the three ringside judges are Justin Mbamba, Bayard Delahaye and Waltier Moreau.
