Ubanwa Amartey vs Stephen Kashala

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-Gauteng promoted show at Soweto Hall, Soweto,  taking place on 04/08/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Southern African Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ubanwa Amartey (28(14) - 17(14) - 1) who hails from Pretoria, South Africa and Stephen Kashala(17(2) - 3(3) - 1) from Mitchells Plain, South Africa.  Both Amartey and Kashala weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Arali Kessels, and the three ringside judges are Voshon Adams, Dorus Steenkamp and Clinton Nyauza.  

Round 1: 

Kashala pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a stinging cross.  
Kashala advances into close range.  Kashala pivots to the left of his opponent.  Amartey drives a solid left hook into Kashala's liver.  
Amartey lands a sharp jab.  Amartey attempts to land a cross, but Kashala blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Amartey closes the distance.  Kashala pivots from in front of his opponent.  Amartey connects with a firm left hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Kashala has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Amartey lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Amartey walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Amartey is on target with a stinging left uppercut to Kashala's ribs.  
Amartey sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Kashala lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.

Kashala pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.

Amartey stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Amartey lands three consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body, DROPPING KASHALA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Kashala has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Kashala pivots to the right of his opponent.  Amartey connects with a solid cross.  
Amartey lands an overhand left.

Amartey closes the distance and is on target with a forceful left hook to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE KASHALA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Amartey attempts to land a right hook, but Kashala blocks the shot and counters with a stinging left hook.  Kashala almost instantly recovers. 
Amartey EXPLODES a FEROCIOUS left hook into his opponents face.  KASHALA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Amartey sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Amartey lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND SENDS KASHALA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Kashala now seems to have got his legs back.  
Amartey snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Amartey connects with a cross.  
Amartey closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head, AND SENDS KASHALA SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Amartey!
