Jalal Taha vs Shakir Assaf

Boxing Daily Report from the Akafia Promotions promoted show at Tajikistan-Dushanbe Gym, Dushanbe,  taking place on 07/08/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Tajikistan-Dushanbe Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Varzish TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jalal Taha (34(19) - 13(10)) who hails from Dushanbe, Tajikistan and Shakir Assaf(11 - 6(5)) from Dushanbe, Tajikistan.  Both Taha and Assaf weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Teymuraz Gadzhibekov, and the three ringside judges are Qadir Soltani, Mirali Rafiq and Vurghun Suleimanov.  

Round 1: 

Taha gets on the inside.  Assaf hits home with a right hook.  
Taha drives a left hook into Assaf's liver.  Taha attempts to land a left hook, but Assaf parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Assaf throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.

Assaf closes the distance.  Taha lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.

Taha gets on the inside and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Taha lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Taha lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Assaf recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Assaf finds the target with a jab.  Assaf attempts to land a left hook, but Taha slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Taha lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Taha tries to land a jab, but Assaf dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Taha steps inside and lands two right uppercut's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Taha lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Assaf pivots to the side of his opponent.  Taha lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS ASSAF DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  
Taha is looking to close the distance.  Assaf pivots to the right of his opponent.  Assaf throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Taha lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Taha drives a solid left hook into Assaf's body.  
Taha throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Taha snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Assaf's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Taha is on target with a solid right hook.  
Taha is looking to close the distance.  Assaf tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a CRUSHING right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE ASSAF WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Assaf could be stopped here, if Taha can find the right shot!  Taha lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS ASSAF TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Taha!
