Johnny Boateng vs Otieno Quansah

Boxing Daily Report from the Busia Promotions promoted show at Mashawn Cobbina Gym, Kumasi,  taking place on 15/08/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Johnny Boateng (10 - 10) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Otieno Quansah(14(2) - 9(3) - 1) from Kumasi, Ghana.  Both Boateng and Quansah weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Paul Kwakye, and the three ringside judges are James Ampomah, Gethin Nkansah and Haider Raad.  

Round 1: 

Quansah closes the distance.  Quansah pivots to the left of his opponent and lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Quansah sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Boateng lands a jab.  
Quansah gets on the inside and connects with a left hook.  
Boateng is on target with a cross.  
Quansah closes the distance and manouvers Boateng into a corner.  Quansah is on target with a firm right hook.

Boateng is looking to keep his distance.  Boateng sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Boateng finds the target with a jab.  
Quansah walks Boateng into the corner.  Quansah sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Quansah lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Quansah holds on to his opponent.  Quansah leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Quansah's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Quansah is looking to keep his distance.  Quansah lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Boateng lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Quansah lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Quansah walks Boateng down, trapping him on the ropes.  Quansah lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.

Quansah steps inside.  Quansah pivots to the right of his opponent and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Boateng recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Quansah tries to land a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Quansah pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Quansah is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Boateng is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Quansah lands a jab.  
Quansah advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head followed by two right hook's to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Boateng recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Quansah senses Boateng is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Quansah connects with a SAVAGE left hook.  BOATENG HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  Boateng now appears to have recovered from that earlier shot.
