Brett Persley vs Fraser Candlish

Boxing Daily Report from the Southpaw Syndicate promoted show at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City,  taking place on 29/08/2044:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Persley (3 - 0 - 1) who hails from Miramar, USA and Fraser Candlish(21 - 16(1) - 1) from Henderson, USA.  Persley weighed in at 130 pounds, while Candlish weighed in at 129 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jamie Loudon, and the three ringside judges are Valentino Brunelli, Ewan McLoughlin and Sid Kellison.  

Round 1: 

Persley is on target with a cross to Candlish's body.  
Persley gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Persley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Candlish throws a left uppercut, but Persley holds on to his opponent.  Persley tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Candlish's kidney. Persley is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Candlish switches the action to the outside.  Persley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Persley closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Persley clinches his opponent.  Persley throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Persley about fouling.
