Ximen Coro vs Selestino Esqueda

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Plaza de Toros La Condesa, Mexico City,  taking place on 29/10/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Azteca, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ximen Coro (16(11) - 0) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Selestino Esqueda(5 - 0 - 1 - 1(NC)) from Mexico City, Mexico.  Both Coro and Esqueda weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Parras, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Herran, Montana Villasana and Agapetus Tomas.  

Round 1: 

Coro closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but the shot is blocked.  Coro ties up his opponent.  Coro hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. 
Coro lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Coro clinches his opponent.  Coro pushes his forearm into Esqueda's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Coro pivots to the side of his opponent.  Esqueda lands a left hook.  
Coro is on target with a cross.  
Coro gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Coro ties up his opponent.  Coro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Coro lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  Coro clinches his opponent.  Coro is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Coro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Coro closes the distance and throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Coro holds on to his opponent.  Coro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Coro is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Coro and breaks the clinch.  
Coro advances into close range and lands two left hook's to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Esqueda could be stopped here, if Coro can find the right shot!  Coro digs in a potent right hook to his opponents body.  ESQUEDA IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  Esqueda now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Coro is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Esqueda throws a left hook, but Coro clinches his opponent.  Coro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Coro's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Coro lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Coro walks his opponent into the red corner.  Coro lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Coro sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Esqueda throws a left hook, but Coro clinches his opponent.  Coro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coro lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Coro lands a left hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Coro closes the distance and lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  Coro ties up his opponent.  Coro leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coro lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Coro lands a stinging right uppercut.  
Coro lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND SENDS ESQUEDA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.

Coro pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Coro lands a right hook, left hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body, AND ESQUEDA IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He manages to get up at 5.  
Coro lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, DROPPING ESQUEDA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Coro ties up his opponent.  Coro leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Coro to stop holding.  It looks like Esqueda has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Coro lands two right hook's to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Coro lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Coro is on target with a right hook.

Coro sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Esqueda throws a left hook, but Coro ties up his opponent.  Coro leans on his opponent using all his weight. Coro tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Esqueda behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Coro digs in a solid left hook to Esqueda's body.  
Coro is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Coro walks his opponent into the corner.  Coro lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.

The ref does not give Esqueda the chance to beat the count...The fight has been stopped!  The winner by TKO is Coro!
