Vidal Melendez vs Alejandro Luz

Boxing Daily Report from the Smokin Joe promoted show at Rogers Center, Toronto,  taking place on 05/10/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Vidal Melendez (36(16) - 6(3) - 2) who hails from Montreal, Canada and Alejandro Luz(47(21) - 8(4)) from Porto Alegre, Brazil.  Melendez weighed in at 175 pounds, while Luz weighed in at 174 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Chris Ruskin, and the three ringside judges are Antwan Dundas, Clint Duthie and Oscar Mauriac.
