Malvolio Cardinal vs Ian Kitchings

Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Event Center, San Antonio,  taking place on 19/08/2044:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Malvolio Cardinal (4(2) - 0) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Ian Kitchings(2 - 0 - 2) from San Antonio, USA.  Both Cardinal and Kitchings weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Bellamy, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Crofoot, Corey Barnes and Bruce Pestana.  

Round 1: 

Cardinal gets on the inside.  Cardinal quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cardinal lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Cardinal ties up his opponent.  Cardinal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Cardinal lands with a solid jab.  
Cardinal lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Cardinal holds on to his opponent.  Cardinal tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kitchings behind the head. The ref breaks Cardinal's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Cardinal manouvers Kitchings onto the ropes.  Cardinal lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Cardinal lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Cardinal clinches his opponent.  Cardinal pushes his forearm into Kitchings's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Cardinal.  
Cardinal steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Kitchings tries to step out of his opponents range.  Cardinal lands a straight 1 - 2.

Cardinal digs in a right hook to Kitchings's body.  Cardinal ties up his opponent.  Kitchings uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cardinal behind the head. 
Cardinal closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cardinal lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Cardinal is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook to Kitchings's body.  Cardinal ties up his opponent.  Cardinal is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cardinal uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Kitchings's kidney. The referee warns Cardinal and breaks the clinch.

He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Cardinal holds on to his opponent.  Cardinal is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Cardinal advances into close range and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Cardinal holds on to his opponent.  Cardinal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cardinal to stop holding.  
Kitchings is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cardinal lands an overhand right.  
Cardinal lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Cardinal senses Kitchings is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Cardinal lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES KITCHINGS!  He manages to get up at 4.  It looks like Kitchings has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Cardinal lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the body, DROPPING KITCHINGS TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  Kitchings now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.
