James Couper vs Fraser Scurlock

Boxing Daily Report from the Southpaw Syndicate promoted show at Harrah's Casino, New Orleans,  taking place on 31/08/2044:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are The Gentleman James Couper (3(1) - 0) who hails from New York City, USA and Fraser Scurlock(19 - 9(1) - 1) from Atlanta, USA.  Both Couper and Scurlock weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Southerland, and the three ringside judges are Wayne Beaubien, Stuart Grieve and David Duffey.

You can sense Scurlock is getting frustrated in there.   He turns Couper and throws an uppercut into his opponents groin area!  The ref halts the action and sends Couper to the neutral corner.    He has a stern word with Scurlock and warns that a point will be deducted if he continues to foul.  
Couper feints a cross, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Scurlock tries to land a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Couper lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Scurlock sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Couper lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Couper sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a weighty left hook to his opponents body.  SCURLOCK WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Scurlock almost instantly recovers.

Couper stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Scurlock throws a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a nasty cross.  DOWN GOES SCURLOCK!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  He holds his fists up but stumbles into the referee! Scurlock doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Couper!
